If the dice have the same numbers (doublets) then you can make four moves. A roll of 2 and 2 means that you should move two points four times. You may move any combination of checkers to complete this requirement.The roll of the dice indicates how many points you can move your checkers. The numbers on the dice represent separate moves. For example if you roll a two and a six you may move one checker two points and another checker six points or you can move one checker twice for a total of eight points. You must move two times (or four times for doublets) if possible. There are instances when the board position is such that you will not be able to make all of your moves. You must play as much of your move as possible and then the rest is passed. In the rare case when you could play either die but not both then you must play the higher die.
